Attack on Titan 3 Platforms

Attack on Titan 3 is coming to PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam in Winter 2026. Compare features, performance, and availability across every platform.

Every Platform Confirmed for Winter 2026

Koei Tecmo has confirmed four platforms for the global launch of Attack on Titan 3 in Winter 2026: PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam (PC). There are no versions planned for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or the original Nintendo Switch. The game is built from the ground up for current-generation hardware to deliver the scale that Nine Titans battles and Exterior Scouting Missions demand.

Each platform version includes the full feature set: evolved ODM combat, the squad system, Casual Mode, Story Mode, and the custom Scout protagonist. Text localization covers English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese. Audio is Japanese-only on every platform.

Performance and Feature Expectations

PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X are expected to target 4K resolution at 60 frames per second in performance modes, with quality modes offering enhanced visuals at 30 or 60 fps depending on final optimization. Xbox Series S will likely run at a lower resolution with the same 60 fps target. Nintendo Switch 2 should deliver a strong handheld and docked experience, though exact specs await official confirmation from Koei Tecmo.

Steam on PC will offer the most flexible experience with scalable graphics settings, ultrawide monitor support, and both controller and keyboard-mouse input via the PC controls layout. PC players typically benefit from faster load times on SSD storage and potential modding community support post-launch, though mods are not officially confirmed.

The MAPPA opening cinematic arrives as a post-launch update on all platforms simultaneously. No platform will receive timed-exclusive story or gameplay content based on current announcements.

Physical vs Digital Availability

Physical editions are expected for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. Steam is digital-only. Collector's and deluxe editions, when announced, will be detailed on our editions page. Pre-orders and wishlist links are collected on the pre-order guide.

Cross-save and cross-progression have not been announced. Achievements and trophies will be platform-native: PlayStation Trophies, Xbox Achievements, Steam Achievements, and Nintendo system achievements on Switch 2.

Cloud gaming availability through PlayStation Plus Premium or Xbox Cloud Gaming has not been confirmed and is unlikely at launch.

Choosing Your Platform

Choose PlayStation 5 for DualSense haptic feedback during ODM maneuvers and Titan impacts. Choose Xbox Series X|S for Game Pass potential (unconfirmed) and Quick Resume convenience. Choose Nintendo Switch 2 for portable Exterior Scouting on the go. Choose Steam for maximum graphical customization and potential sale pricing.

Whichever platform you select, the core Attack on Titan 3 experience remains identical. Read our platform-specific pages for detailed breakdowns, and check our review preview for pre-release analysis across all versions.
